Profit Increase Outstands in Accounts Presentation

In 2009, Edifer Construções reaches a 19 million Euro Net Income, which represents an 84.4% increase from 2008.   

The 2009 Turnover amounts to 466 million Euros, similarly to 2008, despite the macroeconomic adverse conditions of the year.

Edifer Construções’ EBITDA reaches 42 million Euros, representing an increase of 94% when compared to 2008.

As far as the Edifer Group’s consolidated accounts are concerned, Edifer Investimentos, SGPS’ key economic and financial indicators, which include not only the activity of all construction companies but also the strong investment in concessions, were very positive:

- The Consolidated Net Income of 14 million Euro represents an increase of 115% when compared to 2008;

- The Consolidated Turnover reaches 471 millions Euros, with an increase of 0,1%;

- The Consolidated EBITDA reaches 40 million Euros, 83% more than that of 2008.
