Construções Fortaleza has delivered the Caxito New School to the community living next to the granite exploitation concession in Santa Ambuleia.

The School inauguration ceremony was held on the last 29th March, with representatives from the Edifer and the Gema Groups, together with Leaders of the Bengo Province.   

This new school replaces the previous inappropriate one, with an investment of Construções Fortaleza (held by the Edifer Group) duly integrated in the company’s policy of association to the local communities we interact with, in compensation for the investment in productive assets.  

This initiative has boosted the involvement inside the Edifer Group: Edmetal Angola has built and made available all the furniture and,
by means of an internal mobilization campaign, colleagues from
the several companies of the Edifer Group have collected school material, books, manuals and didactic material to around sixty children who will attend the new school.
