Edifer Angola rises Turnover up to USD 202 million and reaches a USD 22 million Net Income
On this date, the General Assembly of Edifer Angola, SA approved the Accounts for 2009 which reveal an extremely positive economic and financial performance.
In 2009, Edifer Angola’s Business Turnover amounts USD 202 million, representing a 35% increase from the USD 150 million registered in 2008.
The Net Income of USD 22 million rose 10% from 2008, when it reached USD 20 million.
With these results, Edifer Angola’s Equity goes from USD 25 to USD 47 million, that is to say, they suffer an increase of 88%.
In the beginning of 2010, Edifer Angola’s business portfolio amounts to USD 563 million.
Construções Fortaleza more than doubles Business Turnover in 2009
On this date, the General Assembly of Construções Fortaleza, SA approved the Accounts for 2009 which reveal a high increase of both Turnover and Net Income.
The 2009 Turnover amounts to USD 50 million, more than doubling the level of activity of 2008, when it reached USD 23.5 million, with an increase of precisely 113%.
The Net Income of Construções Fortaleza, SA went from USD 1 million up to USD 2.7 million, reflecting a growth rate of 270%.
Construções Fortaleza’s Equity went from USD 8.3 to USD 11.0 million.
The economic and financial performance of both these companies held by the Edifer and the Gema Groups is even more impressive when considering the economic context throughout the year.
During the latest years, the Edifer Group and the Gema Group have invested USD 100 million in their subsidiaries operating in the Angolan construction market.
Finally, with these results, the Edifer Angola Group reaches a USD 280 million Global Business Turnover. |
