Edifer and Artemisia together in the second phase of Parque dos Poetas Construction in Oeiras

The Oeiras Municipality has awarded the 2nd construction phase of Parque dos Poetas to Edifer and Artemisia, for the total amount of 28.3 million Euros.
With a 36-month execution deadline, the contract includes the composition of 3 gardens allusive to 41 poets and their times, a project by Francisco Caldeira Cabral’s Landscape Architecture Bureau.
In over 15 hectares of garden, poets (thirty Portuguese and eleven from Portuguese speaking countries) will be immortalized through the hands of the same number of sculptors.
As a symbolic act of award, The Oeiras Municipality has launched the first stone of the Second Phase of Parque dos Poetas, on the last 29th September at 6:00 pm. |
