On the last 31st May, the NORFIN work last stage ended, finishing an undertaking which has begun four years ago.

Being so far the biggest contract for just one building in Portugal, it is already one of the main symbols of Edifer building capacity. 

EDIFER has adapted the entire office great complex which, let us not forget, has two internal streets, 5 basements and one platform – garden including one of the most impressive sets of towers on Parque das Nações. This adaptation was meant to host the Lisbon Justice Campus, a complex of courts and law services which constitute an innovating concept in the country.  

The contract schedule establishing partial deliveries, since November 2008, was duly observed.

With half of the premises already occupied by the Courts, on the 31st May the last four buildings were finished, and so was the basement upgrading, the latter being particularly difficult due to hard conditions and a very short deadline.    

The Lisbon criminal jurisdiction courts will be moved close to the Family, Sea and Fiscal courts already in service.

The Justice Campus, the 2nd phase of the undertaking, was a project directed by the Contract Account Manager José Paulo, with the support of the Production Manager of the 1st phase, Luís Rodrigues who, during this year, took office as Contract Account Manager of the entire undertaking, with the support of the Technical Manager Pedro Carvalho, as well as of Helder Dias and Pedro Alberto, both as Works Managers.

Emphasis must be given to the excellent performance and contribution of the Special Installation technicians, as well as to the whole production team, including foremen, sub-foremen, team supervisors and people from preparation, measurement, post-sale assistance and administrative services, all of them having been essential to the success of this project.
