Edifer Negotiates Hospital Building Project in Venezuela

Edifer is negotiating a design and build project with the Venezuelan Health Ministry. The project concerns a 200 to 250 bed capacity hospital in the Caracas area, with an estimated value of around 100 million Euros, covering all medical and hospital specialties.
The negotiation is taking place in the scope of the first visit of the Venezuelan Government Health Officers to Portugal in February, during which they have visited several health infrastructures undertaken by Edifer. Also important were the contacts established as of the Portuguese Prime Minister recent visit to Venezuela.
This visit gave origin to an Understanding Agreement, to be formally signed up until the end of 2008 first semester. difer expects to be awarded this Project, based on its broad health infrastructure portfolio. See
