EQUILIBRIUM Project: Sustainability at Edifer

It is a proactive strategy to adopt better levels of organisational performance in the context of Sustainable Development, based on a new management model and on an Integrated Management System.

Edifer was the first Portuguese construction company to achieve Quality Certification, recognised in the market as a pioneer in the implementation of quality management systems in the construction sector.

Currently it is also Certified in Occupational Safety and Health and its Environmental Certification will undoubtedly be ensured in the first months of 2008, to subsequently the Corporate Responsibility and Innovation Management Certification.

Edifer sees these certifications as the recognition of the quality and consistency of its practices and procedures, and as an asset for its Customers, Business Partners and other Stakeholders.

Edifer intends to sustain a differentiating position in the market, committing also in a more active form to the promotion of the development that is necessary in the construction sector.

Multiple certifications are presently held by Companies of the Edifer Group.

Beyond describe Certifications, both, Tecnasol and Promorail hold the Quality Management System Certification, ISO 9001:2000 and also the Occupational Health and Safety Certification, OHSAS 18001:1999.

Edimetal and Habitágua also hold the Quality Management System Certification, ISO 9001 : 2000.
